As a fidgety high school student, Lauren first unrolled her mat next to her mom as she played yoga VHS tapes. Although focus was difficult, the movement and strength in each pose fascinated her. Over the years, Lauren came in and out of a regular practice but always found her way back onto her mat. In 2014, with anxious curiosity and a supportive nudge from a friend, Lauren took her first class in a studio and was instantly hooked. After tapping into personal strength and connecting with a vibrant community, Lauren knew she was meant to be on her mat.
Lauren received her RYT-200 teaching certification and is currently working towards her RYT-500 under Victoria Arvizu of High Energy Fusion Yoga®. With a background in dynamic sequencing, thoughtful structuring and the modern blending of yoga’s many forms, Lauren’s classes are designed to keep you moving, breathing and achieving. Under Lauren’s careful guidance you will strengthen your practice, discover playfulness in poses and see things from a new, upside down perspective. In all of Lauren’s classes moments of meditation and mindful breathing are interwoven to invite the space for grounding and reflecting on the benefits of your practice.
Understanding the value of yoga in the healing process, Lauren studied with Street Yoga, a program seeking to use yoga and mindfulness to help people overcome and cope with trauma. Infusing this idea into all of her classes, Lauren strives to create a community that is supportive, understanding and receptive to all backgrounds and ability levels.
You can find Lauren supporting community events in her hometown of Milwaukee. Lauren hopes to help all of her students realize and tap into their incredible, limitless potential!
